Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (English: The One With Strong Arms: The Conclusion) is a 2017 Indian historical fiction film co-written and directed by S. S. Rajamouli and produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni.[6] It is the continuation of Baahubali: The Beginning. Simultaneously made in both Telugu and Tamil languages, the film stars major actors from Tollywood industry with Prabhas and Rana Daggubati in lead roles. Initially, both parts were jointly produced on a budget of ₹250 crore (₹2.5 billion),[7][4] however the budget of the second part was increased later. Baahubali 2: The Conclusion has made a record of highest pre-release business with ₹500 crore (₹5 billion).[8]
The film was released worldwide on 28 April 2017.[1] Baahubali 2 was the first Telugu film to be released in 4K High Definition format. It is estimated that close to 200 screens are being upgraded to 4K projectors before the release date of the movie.[9]
Baahubali 2 became the first Indian film to get a worldwide gross of more than ₹500 crore (₹5 billion) in all languages in just three days.[10] It Become the highest grossing movie of all time in India by collecting ₹565 crore (₹5.65 billion) in five days.[11][12][13]Baahubali 2 became the highest grossing Indian film ever with worldwide gross of approx ₹800 crore (₹8.00 billion) in all languages in just six days, surpassing PK worldwide gross of ₹ 743 crore.[14]
